The Tiny Christening Dress is made from fine batiste and a variety of cotton heirloom laces. Sleeves, yoke and skirt extension are constructed using heirloom-sewing techniques.
The sleeves are short and puffed with an inset lace and baby entredeux with gathered lace along the sleeve hem.
The skirt and skirt extension are tucked and trimmed with bands of insertion lace and a slightly flared lace border.
The bonnet is made with pieced insertion lace, baby entredeux and silk ribbon, with a gathered back.
The slip is a simple A-line trimmed with narrow lace.
