Baby Girl
The girl's jumpsuit is made from knit panne velvet in two contrasting colors. It is trimmed with plaid ribbon.
|
Baby Boy
The boy's jumpsuit is color blocked, made from 50/50 interlock knit and ribbing (see SOURCES), and trimmed with buttons. |
NOTE: THEPATTERN CONTAINS DIRECTION FOR BOTH THE BABY GIRL AND BABY BOY
NOTES: Choose a color scheme . Possible combinations are shown below. See "NAP CUTTING" directions in Helps Section. It takes 1/3 yard to make either jumpsuit IF using only one color. The amount of material for each of the specified color schemes is indicated below. Sew knit seams with a serger or a stretch stitch. If your machine does not have a stretch stitch, use a narrow zigzag stitch for seams. Knit does not fray, so it does not need to be seam finished. BOY'S NOTE: Interlock knit is stretchy enough to use for ribbing. If you use another type of knit, use regular ribbing (ribbing is sold by the inch). 2 ½" should be enough regular ribbing.
